Local Tips

  • The trail can be completed in either direction, but the preferred and typical direction is from west (Three Sisters Creek) to east (Stewart Creek). If you choose to travel in the opposite direction, be extra mindful of descending mountain bikers on this popular trail.

  • Fat bikers will often ride this trail through the winter which packs it down well for running. It’s best to wait a few days after big snowfalls to let the bikers do their thing and make for the best experience.

  • There is a small waterfall that flows year round up Three Sisters Creek just past the start of the Cloudline climb trail. Follow a faint trail upstream approximately 200 metres, crossing the creek where necessary to find the easiest way. This section of the creek can be difficult to navigate without getting your feet wet in the spring and early summer.
